Service Agreement Terms
1 Scope of Inspection
Impartio provides a limited, non-invasive exterior visual evaluation of the property using commercial drone technology operated by FAA Part 107 certified pilots. The inspection covers visible exterior conditions including roof surfaces, walls, gutters, vents, eaves, decks, landscaping, and defensible space — observed from aerial vantage points.
2 Access & Coverage Limitations
Areas obstructed by vegetation, structures, or other obstacles may not be fully visible during the drone inspection. Ground-level supplemental photos may be taken where accessible. Impartio does not guarantee complete coverage of all exterior surfaces. Any access limitations encountered during the inspection will be noted in the report.
3 Expressly Excluded
This inspection is expressly not a Real Estate Transfer Disclosure inspection as defined under California Civil Code §1102, and must not be used as such. The following are also excluded: fire code compliance certification or CA PRC §4291 certification, engineering or structural evaluation, destructive testing, insurance discount eligibility determination, and interior inspection of any kind.
4 Authorization
By signing below, you confirm that you are the property owner or an authorized agent of the property owner, and that you authorize Impartio to conduct a drone inspection of the exterior of the property listed. You confirm that drone operations over the property are permitted and that you have the authority to grant such access. You further acknowledge that Impartio may engage licensed independent contractors to perform the drone flight and media capture on its behalf.
5 Inspection Media
All drone photographs and video captured during the inspection are made available to you via a secure download link with an expiration date. Download your media before it expires — files will no longer be accessible after that date. Inspection media may also be used internally by Impartio for non-marketing purposes, including to train, evaluate, and improve our proprietary inspection models and AI-assisted analysis tools. All such use is anonymized with respect to personally identifiable information. No media will be attributed to you or your property in any published or external context. Media is not shared with third parties.
6 Limitation of Liability
Impartio's total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the inspection fee paid by the client. In no event shall Impartio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the inspection, the report, or the use of any media or findings.
7 Report Delivery
The completed inspection report will be delivered as a PDF to the email address provided. Delivery timing is subject to weather, scheduling, and processing — reports are typically delivered within 5 days of the drone flight.
8 Cancellation
You may cancel your inspection at no charge before the scheduled inspection date. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled flight, a cancellation fee may apply.
9 Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
